| Robert L. Bryant, 75, of Clyde, died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Bellevue Hospital.
Mr. Bryant was born on October 5, 1933 in Lily, Kentucky, to the late Robert L. and Dora Ellen (Humfleet) Bryant. He was a welder for the Mayflower Vehicle Corp for thirty years prior to his retirement. Robert was a member of the UAW and enjoyed all sports, especially football. His hobbies included painting, knife making and making jewelry. Robert was a muzzle loader enthusiast. He was a Korean War veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mary (Honaker) Bryant, whom he married Nov. 2, 1965; a daughter, Rose (David) Cooper, Clyde; son, Carl (Ardith) Hamilton, Bryant, Iowa and ten grandchildren: Stefanie; Nikki; Delilah; Samuel; Chad; Matt; Jodie; Robert; Zach; and Austin along with eight great grandchildren. One brother, Donald Bryant of Michigan; a brother-in-law, Dewey Cochran, Michigan and a nephew, Lynn Cochran are also survivors. He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Douglas Hamilton in 2001; and a grandson, Joshua. | |
