Dovie L. Fritz, 56, of Willard, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born January 7, 1953 in Matewan, West Virginia to the late Carl D. and Victoria (Cisco) Varney.
Dovie graduated from Bellevue High School in 1972. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church. She served on the altar-rosary society at church and she loved to play bingo.
On September 22, 1972 she married Joseph Fritz, they were married for 37 years. He survives in Willard. Their daughters also survive: Jennifer (Jeff) Geary of Willard and Jessica (David) Schibley of Monroeville; grandchildren: Myah Nicole Geary, Cal Joseph Geary also survive. Dovie was also expecting another grandson in February, Cooper Gary Schibley. She is also survived by her five siblings, Patricia Fritz, Edna Miller, Cherie Thom, Carl Varney Jr., Victoria Greenman.
