He was born March 27, 1933 in Huron County to the late Santo and Clara (Provenzale) Recupero.
Sam graduated in 1952 from Bellevue High School. Until his retirement in 1990, he worked at Philco/Johnson Furnace/Armstrong. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Knights of Columbus, Bellevue Eagles, and Club Amerital.
On June 30, 1962, he married Mary (Morman) and she preceded him in death on April 13, 2003. Sam is survived by his siblings, Dorothy LeCount and Patricia Dean and Terry Perski; and his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Sam was preceded in death by his siblings: Anthony Recupero, Angline Biller, Antonette Vickery, and Diane Meyer.
