Alvis Tackett, 64, of Bellevue, passed away at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center on Monday, Novermber 9, 2009.
Alvis was born on September 16, 1945 to Sherman and Luttie Tackett in West Van Lear, Kentucky. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
On July 3, 1995, he married Sandra (Mace) Tackett, she survives as do daughters Marlo Motter and Luella Tackett, both of Clyde, and step-daughter Marcia Walters of Bellevue
Private family services will be held.
