| Harold Richard Dirnberg, 86, formerly of Clyde and Fremont, died at the Bellevue Hospital on Sunday, January 17, 2010.
Mr. Dirnberg was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 12, 1923 to the late Leroy and Frances (Coombs) Dirnberg. He retired from the Whirlpool Corp in 1981, after thirty years. He was a member of the American Legion and a lifetime member of the Fremont VFW. Harold served in the US Army during WWII. On December 20, 1945, he married Luella Mae (Starkey) Dirnberg, who preceded him in death on April 27, 1992. Also preceding him is a daughter, Pamela Faulkner; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild, along with two brothers, Clarence and Franklin Dirnberg. He is survived by their children, Ronald (Wanda) Dirnberg; Donald (Darlene) Dirnberg; Cindy (Butch) Brockschmidt and Kenny (Edith) Dirnberg, all of Clyde; Eighteen grandchildren; thirty nine great grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and one sister, Mary Alice (Glenn) Schultz, Oak Harbor also survive. | |
