Jerome A. “Butch” Dorobek, 69, of Clyde died on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky. Butch was born in Fremont on January 18, 1941 to the now deceased Walter and Kathryn (Karr) Dorobek. He attended Townsend High School and had worked for forty-one years at Whirlpool Corp, retiring in 2001. Mr. Dorobek was a US Navy veteran for four years. He was a member of the Clyde VFW. Butch enjoyed Nascar races and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, LaDonna (Mesnard) Dorobek, whom he married on March 2, 1963 along with their four daughters, Michelle (Christopher) Herwat, Huron; Debra Dorobek; Stephanie Jones and Jennifer Dorobek, all of Clyde. Seven grandchildren also survive. Butch is survived by his twelve siblings; James (Rita) Dorobek, Fremont; Judith (Glenn) Hoppe, Clyde; June (John) Brough, Clyde; Janice (Gary) Butts, Castalia; John (Linda) Dorobek, The Colony, Texas; Joseph (Donna) Dorobek, Clyde; Jeffery (Jean) Dorobek, Vickery; Jay (Cindy) Dorobek, Pensacola, Florida; Jerrold Dorobek, Clyde; Jerry Dorobek, Vickery; Jac (Gloria) Dorobek, Vickery; and Julia Polk, Cherry Point, NC. | |
