Robert L. McGuire

Robert Lyal McGuire, 79, of Bellevue, died Monday, December 23, 2013 at The Meadows at Osborn Park.
He was born June 29, 1934 in Bowling Green to the late Lyal C. and Dorthea (Housholder) McGuire.
Bob graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1952. His lifelong occupation was a tool and die engineer; first for White Motor Company in Toledo, then Ford Motor Company in Sandusky, then on to owning his own business, "Trebor, Inc" in Bellevue.
Robert was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue; Third Degree Knights of Columbus Council #546; Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Assembly #813; Bishop Machebeuf; former Navigator 1992; former member of Club Amer-Ital in Bellevue; IAB of Sandusky; and the Fraternal Order of Bellevue Eagles.
On October 29, 1988, Robert married Carma (DeLiberto) Raschke McGuire and she survives in Bellevue. Also surviving are his daughters: Maureen (Mark) Crockett of Sandusky and Kathleen (Joel) Morris of Sherrill's Ford, North Carolina; grandchildren: Kyle, Shaun, Kassandra, and Alex; great-grandchildren: Madison, Noah, Grace, Ryleigh, Ethan, Soleil, and Olivia; and his sister, Carolyn Sue Tripp of Marion, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his grandson, Chad Robert Crockett and his step-mother, Hilda McGuire.
Visitation will be 4-7:00pm Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue. His funeral service will be 11:00am Friday, December 27 at Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue with Rev. Jonathan Wight officiating.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at The Meadows of Osborn Park for his excellent care and their compassion shown to his family.
Memorials may be given to The Meadows at Osborn Park or Immaculate Conception Organ Fund or Stein Hospice.

Sending positive thoughts and prayers at this time of reflection and change. I am a 1952 BBellevue High School graduate. When my dad bought Rogers Drug in Bowling Green o on July 1, 1952, Bob and his friends hung out at the drug store store. He was a great and fun guy. It has been many, many years since I have see Bob. My respects to all.

I worked for Bob at Trebor Engineering in the mid 70's as an apprentice tool maker. He taught me a great deal about the trade, had a great sense of humor and was always full of laughter
