Carl E. Gullett

Carl E. Gullett, 88, of Clyde, died at The Willows in Bellevue on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.

Carl was born in Salyersville, Kentucky on October 19, 1929 to the now deceased Estel and Lura (Borders) Gullett. He graduated from Salyersville High School prior to coming to Clyde.

Mr. Gullett had first worked at Bendix, then, Clyde Porcelain Steel, and retired from Whirlpool  Corp in 1990 after 37 years of service at Whirlpool.

He and his wife enjoyed attending auctions and looking for antiques.

On March 2, 1950, he married Mary Holldorf. She, along with their five children, Edwin Gullet of Salyersville, Kentucky; Dennis (Carla) Gullett, Fremont; Debora (Samuel) Withrow of Clyde; Karen (Bill) Stokes of Clyde and David (Lori) Gullett of Clyde survive. Nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, also survive. A sister, Martha Stanley of Clyde and a brother, Marcus Gullett of Vickery also survive.

Carl was preceded in death by three brothers, Hershel Gullett; Harry Gullett and Richmond Gullett.

Private family services and burial will be held.
