Donald J. Goebel, Jr, 73, of Fremont died on Friday, May 26, 2017 at The Toledo Hospital.
 
Don was born I Fremont on February 15, 1944 to Donald J. Sr. and Eunice (Hurst) Goebel.
 
He was the former owner of the Log Cabin Restaurant in Fremont and had been an truck driver/owner operator.
 
Mr. Goebel was a US Army veteran.
 
On September 2, 1978, he married Renee Halbeisen. She survives.
 
He was preceded by his father, Donald J. Goebel, Sr., his mother, Eunice (Hurst) Goebel Erb, step father, Eldon Erb and his  siblings, Maryann Batesole, Patricia Goebel and John Goebel.
 
Private family services will be held at a later date for family and friends.
