Evelyn Marie Matz, 105, of Clyde, died at The Willows in Bellevue on Saturday, February 11, 2017.
 
Evelyn was born in Adams Township, Seneca County, Ohio on January 1, 1912 to the now deceased Charles A. and Alvennie (Evert) Matz.
 
She graduated from the former Thompson High School and had attended the Tiffin Business College. For ten years she was a cook at The Villa in Green Springs.
 
Evelyn was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Adams Township and the Friendship Circle at the church.
 
Miss Matz was preceded in death by her brothers, Albert Matz and Robert C. (Doris) Matz.
 
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, Adams Twp. The Rev. James Barkenquast will officiate. Burial will be in Fireside Cemetery.
 
Memorials may be made to the church.
