Floyd Kenneth McClenathan, Sr. of Clyde, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, April 15, 2017.
Floyd was born in Republic, Ohio on April 19, 1940 to Floyd B. and Anna (Gotshall) McClenathan. He was a graduate of Thompson High School. Following graduation, he attended Tiffin University.
Mr. McClenathan enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.
He was retired from Armstrong in Bellevue.
Survivors include his daughter, Ellie Guhn of Fremont and sons, Clayton (Sandra) McClenathan of Clyde and Donnie McClenathan of Fremont. Ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren also survive. His former wife, Sandra McClenathan of Fremont; brother Chuck (Karen) McClenathan of Clyde and sisters, Mary Halbeisen of Fremont and Shirley (Greg) Acres of Tiffin survive as well.
In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his son, F. Kenneth McClenathan, Jr.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 10:00 Am until Noon at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be at noon. Burial will follow.
