Helen (Holzhauer) Pettys

Helen Pettys, 88, of Clyde, died at Fremont Promedica Hospital on Thursday, March 8, 2018.

Mrs. Pettys was born in Clyde on Mary 24, 1929 to John and Agnes (Felshaw) Holzhauer.

On September 8, 1948, she married Howard Pettys. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1998.

She is survived by two daughters, Crystal Rohrbacher of Fremont and Cathy (Bill) McCleese of Fremont. Two grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Pettys was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Elmer Holzhauer and three sisters, Fern Westfall, Mae Hacker and Myrtle Rogers.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 10:00 am until the service at 11:00 am at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. Pastor Candace Seaman will officiate with burial in Greenlawn Memory Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Promedica Hospice or Clyde Christian Church.
