Iona Jean Hickson, 91, Clyde, died at the The Willows on Friday, January 20, 2017.

Miss Hickson was the only child born April 15, 1925 to Harry F. and Beryl J. (Gattshall) Hickson in Cardington, Ohio.

She was a 1943 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School. 

Iona was a WWII Navy veteran. 

Surviving is her dear friend, Vera Lynn (Bill) Meyer lives in Clyde.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 4-6:00 pm at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main Street, Clyde, Ohio. 

The burial will take place in Glendale Cemetery, Cardington, Ohio on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 1:00 pm with military services.
