Joni L. Myers, 62 of rural Green Springs, Ohio died at Flower Hospital on Sunday, December 31, 2017.

Joni was born in Mansfield, Ohio on August 23, 1955 to John and Phyllis (James) Dermen. She was a 1973 graduate of Ashland High School. She attended The Ohio State University for two years.

Mrs. Myers was a member of Kingdom Hall in Fremont. She enjoyed basset hounds and was a wonderful cook. But Joni especially loved her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

On June 27, 1976, she married Donald Lee Myers. He survives, along with their four children, Kimberly (Teofilo) Garcia of Green Springs; Donald Myers, Jr. of Fremont; Francesca (Tim) Elkins of Clyde and Patrick Myers of Fremont. Eleven grandchildren, Andy Gabriel, Elizabeth, Chastity, Travis; Hunter, Teal; Vienna; Carla, Aaron and David and eleven great grandchildren, along with two sisters, Debbie (Andy) Reisner of Cambridge and Cindy (Larry Powell of Ashland also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the service at 1:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio.

Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Kingdom Hall.
