Karen "Kay" Logan, 76, of Bellevue, died Friday, October 13, 2017 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky.

 

She was born July 22, 1941 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Johnny Arthur and Thelma (Roe) Clifford.  Kay was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Bellevue.  She loved flowers, was a great southern cook, and attended NASCAR races at Bristol for 20 years.  Kay graduated from Minford High School in 1958, where she was the class valedictorian.  She worked at Fannie Farmer, GE, and Bellevue High School cafeteria, until her retirement in 2006.

 

On October 11, 1959 she married Roger Logan and he survives in Bellevue.  Also surviving is their son, Jeffrey (Lori) Logan of Bellevue; and grandson, Kyle Logan of Bellevue.

 

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her siblings: Charleton, Mary, Virgil, and Larry Clifford; and her dog, Coco.

 

Visitation will be 2:00-7:00pm Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Auxter Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue.  Her funeral service will be 10:30am Tuesday, October 17 at Providence Baptist Church, 1000 Gardner Street, Bellevue.  Burial will follow in Bellevue City Cemetery.
