LaDonna M. (Hazelback) Borchardt Myers

LaDonna M. Borchardt Myers, 91, of Bellevue, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

 

She was born March 27, 1926 in Bellevue to Helen (Feckley) & Anthony Hazelback.  She graduated from Bellevue High School. LaDonna worked for Strayer Realty and also sold Mary Kay makeup. LaDonna was a very giving person - if anyone was ever in need, she was always there to help.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Her faith was also very important to her.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fremont.  Prior to that, she was a member at Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue. There, she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, St. Jude Study Club, and DiVi - Charter of Isabella.  She also enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

 

In September 1944 she married Richard C. Borchardt. He preceded her in death November 1991.  In June 1993, she married Kenneth Myers and he preceded her in death June 2017.  She is also preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Evelyn Tonovitz; brother, Wayne Hazelback; sons, Richard A. "Junior" Borchardt and William "Billy" Borchardt; son-in-law, Charles W. "Chuck" Smith; grandsons, Jeffery Cloud and Scott Borchardt; and a step-grandson, Stephen French.

 

LaDonna is survived by her daughters, Jan Marie Smith and Julie Ann (Phil) Cloud, all of Bellevue; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Borchardt of Bellevue; grandchildren: Robert W. (Tuesday) Black; Pamela (Lane) Partridge; Matthew (Stephanie) Smith; Beth (Dale) Martin; Curt (Karen Ispan) Borchardt; Julia Borchardt; Bryan (Amanda) Cloud; Kevin Cloud; great-grandchildren: Bree, Brooke, Lexi, Sydney, Hunter, Ashton, Jackson, Alysse, Ava; and Kenneth's children: Teri (Steven) Tooman; Tami Myers; Layne (Janeile) Myers; Kenneth's grandchildren: Jared Mills; Adam Tooman; Justin French; and many other close family members and friends. 

 

Visitation will be 3:00-7:00pm Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Auxter Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue; and also from 10:00am-11:00am Tuesday, February 6 at the funeral home.  Her funeral mass will be 11:30am Tuesday, February 6 at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St, Bellevue with Rev. Jonathan Wight  officiating.  Burial will follow in Bellevue St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

 

Memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception School Endowment; American Cancer Society; or Stein Hospice.
