Margaret M. Zieber, 98, of Bellevue, died Monday, September 11, 2017 at her home. 

She was born April 23, 1919 in Castalia, Ohio to Ralph and Christina (Kromer) Keller.  She graduated from Margaretta High School in 1937 and Toledo Business School.  Mrs. Zieber was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, where she served on the Altar Rosary Society and was a member of the St. Christopher Study Club.  She was a lifetime member of the Bellevue Eagles, honorary member of the FFA, and an active member of two card clubs.  Mrs. Zieber and her husband were co-founders of the Zieber Egg Farm.

 

On May 29, 1943 she married Jerald J. Zieber.  He preceded her in death on December 6, 1992. 

She is also preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Ralph Keller, Joe Keller, Roseann Manner, and Mary Bradford; and a son-in-law, Rob Moffett.

 

Survivors include her children: R. Jerry (Kay) Zieber of Bellevue; Ted (Debby) Zieber of Mansfield; Don (Jean) Zieber of Bellevue; Paul Zieber of Cincinnati; Ann (Nelson) Wright of Bellevue; Mary Moffett of Romano Beach, Florida; fifteen grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and her siblings: Rita Wammes of Fremont; James (Joyce) Keller of Sandusky; Ted (Rita) Keller of Sandusky; and Helen Moehlman of Norwalk.

 

Visitation will be 3-8:00pm Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue.  The Rosary will be recited Wednesday 3:00pm at the funeral home.  Her funeral mass will be 10:30am Thursday, September 14 at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St, Bellevue with Father Jonathan Wight officiating.  Burial will be in Bellevue City Cemetery.
