Marilyn M. Ohl, 94, of Clyde, died at her home on Sunday, May 21, 2017.
 
Marilyn was born in Fremont on January 6, 1923 to the now deceased E. Ross and Nina (Ames) Koleman. She was a 1940 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
 
Mrs. Ohl enjoyed card playing and reading. She was an excellent baker and cook. She won a trip to Hawaii in 1971 in the Pillsbury Bake-Off. On many occasions, she was the winner of contests where she summited essays of 25 words of less and was able to win trips to New York City and New Orleans, just to name two sites.
 
On November 16, 1942, she married Marion Ohl. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1996.
 
Survivors include three children, James Ohl of Arizona; Kathy (Steve) Yoder of Vickery and Robert Ohl of California. Four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are her “Daughters in love “, Leah Level and Sandra Marshall.
 
Marilyn was preceded in death by two sons, Marion “Bucky” Ohl, Jr. and Steven Ohl. Her sister, Virginia McClure is also deceased as is a great granddaughter, Adrino Smith.
 
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 4-6:00 pm at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Mel Salyer officiating. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.
 
Memorials may be made to Clyde Public Library or Stein Hospice.
