Marion L. Hoffman, 101, of Clyde died on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at The Gardens of Clyde.
Miss Hoffman was born in Elmore on September 19, 1915 to Myron and Estella (Adamski) Hoffman. She was a graduate of Clyde High School and Tri State University in business.
She had worked at the former Clyde Cutlery, Hickley Claus and retired from New Departure after 19 years of service as a secretary.
Marion was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde where she had formerly volunteered many hours by using her talents to create the bulletins and be the record keeper of the finances.
Survivors include her sister, Catherine Hawk of Melbourne, Florida. “Aunt Marion” was a special and generous to her 37 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Rosemary Hoffman; Edmund Hoffman; George Hoffman; James Hoffman; Eleanor Brough; Dorothy Held; Ann Mosser; Louise Hoffman and Louis Hoffman.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 2-4:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The Rosary will be recited at 4:00 pm on Sunday. The funeral mass will be on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:0 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Ed Schleter officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
