Raymond C.B. Mossefin, 71, of Clyde, died at his home on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.
Ray was born in Wiesbaden, Germany on August 8, 1946 to Donald and Alice (Sonnebon) Mossefin.
He entered the US Air Force in 1965, and was honorably discharged in 1968.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast, as well as a former race car owner and driver.
In 2006, he retired after 30 years of being employed by the Whirlpool Corp.
On December 16, 2005, he married Deborah Middleton. She survives.
Also surviving are his three sons, Donald (Kimberly) Young of Bettsville; Eric Mossefin of Clyde and Marc (Heather) Mossefin of Clyde. Three step-children, Jennifer Noland of Athens, Ohio; Kelly(Brittany) Julio-Skeels of North Ridgeville and Kenneth (Christina) Skeels of Clyde. Eight grandchildren and five step-grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Mossefin was preceded in death by his parents and a stillborn twin sister.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. There will be a procession from the funeral home to Greenlawn Memory Gardens for a military graveside service that will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 30, 2018. The procession will leave the funeral home at 10:45 AM, regardless of the weather. The family asks that motorcycles be ridden.
Military services will be provided by the Clyde VFW and American Legion.
