Stephen S. Girton, 61, of Bellevue, died on Friday, August 11, 2017 at The Bellevue Hospital.

Steve was born in Beckley, West Virginia on December 3, 1955 to the now deceased Donald and Elizabeth (File) Girton. He graduated from EHOVE in 1975 and Terra Tech.

He had worked for ODOT.

On September 12, 1987, he married Linda Thompson. She survives, along with this sister, Judith of Jamestown, Ohio, and brothers, Philip and Daniel.

A memorial service will be on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at  The Bellevue Alliance Church at 2:00 pm.

Memorial may be made to Bellevue Alliance Benevolent  Fund.
