Steven L. Chapman, 59, of Bellevue, died on Friday, April 7, 2017 at his home.
 
Steven was born in Fremont on July 29, 1957. He attended School of Hope and had worked at Sandco Industries.
 
He is survived by his parents, Richard A. and Joanne M. (Kerlin) Chapman; and seven siblings: Ralph (Susie) Chapman, Castroville, Texas; John (Lolita) Chapman, Bellevue; Mike (Jamie) Chapman, Clyde; Bill (Nancy) Chapman, Republic; Diane (Jeff Stull, Genoa; Jeanette (Jay) Cook, Gibsonburg and Rick (Amy) Chapman, Tiffin. His second mother, Norma Chapman of Bellevue and brother, Chad Chapman, Bellevue and sister, Tandi Fritz of Sheffield also survive. Twenty seven nieces and nephews and 45 great nieces and nephews are among his survivors.
 
Steve was preceded in death by a brother, Dick Chapman and grandparents Harry and Ruth Chapman; William and Helen Kerlin; Gill and Marie Durst; and Juan and Minerva Ortiz.
 
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 4-7:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde. The funeral will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Ken DeChant officiating. Burial will be in Bakertown Cemetery.
 
Memorials may be sent to School of Hope or Stein Hospice, who the family would like to thank for their care and kindness to Steve.
