Virgil D. Armstrong, 55, of Bellevue, died at the Bellevue Hospital on Monday, April 17, 2017.
 
Virgil was born on April 18, 1961 in Vanceburg, Kentucky.
 
He graduated from Clyde High School in 1979. He had worked in security, first in a factory setting, then later in retail stores, where he had held the status of being the security detective with the best record of sentencing the accused.
 
Mr. Armstrong enjoyed fishing, BBQ, NASCAR and the Denver Bronco’s. He was an avid concert attendee.
 
On December 24, 1988, he married Diana Boger. She survives. Also surviving are three siblings, David Null of Plymouth; Margaret Null of Delphos and Anthony Null of Green Springs.
 
Virgil was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Armstrong.
 
Private services will be held.
