Yvonne A. (Fawcett) Ferres

Yvonne A. Ferres, 86, of Bellevue, died Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Stein Hospice Inpatient Unit in Sandusky.

 

She was born May 14, 1931 in Bellevue to Catherine Charlotte (Cramer) and Robert Holmer Fawcett.  She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1950.  Mrs. Ferres was an accomplished seamstress, making all types of crafts and clothing.  Annually, she had a booth at the Lake Erie Arts and Crafts Show.  She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clyde.

 

On October 20, 1950 she married Charles E. Ferres, and he preceded her in death on October 3, 2010. 

 

Survivors include their children: Judith (Jeffery) Haughawout of Bellevue; Cathy (Firm) Havice of Huron; Stephen (Debbie) Ferres of Bellevue; Lori (Sam) Adams of Bellevue; grandchildren: Jill Haughawout (Ryan Inkrott); Jason (Deanna) Haughawout; Leah Lepley; Dana Schaeffer; Zachary Ferres; Sam (Nichole) Adams; Amanda (Ed) Czerwieniec; Benjamin Adams; Sara (Thomas) McKnown; great-grandchildren: Brandon Haughawout; Ava Inkrott; Andrew Adams; Cody Adams; Kylie Schaeffer; Alexis Engler; Meredith Engler; Max Lepley; Kiara Harris; Sammy Adams; Meredith Adams; Rhys Adams; Abby Czerwieniec.

 

In addition to her husband, Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Niles Fawcett. 

 

Visitation will be 3-5:00pm Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Auxter Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue.  Her funeral service will be 10:30am Monday, February 5 at the funeral home with Rev. Gerhardt Gosnell officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
