Alfred F. Lehmkuhl, 89 of Bellevue, died Friday, November 15, 2019 at his home.
He was born September 16, 1930 in Minster, Ohio to Harry & Cecelia (Daniel) Lehmkuhl. Al graduated from Minster High School in 1948 and Ohio State University in 1952. He served our country in the US Army during the Korean War.
Al was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue. He moved to Bellevue in 1972 to work (and later own) Horn's Crop Service. He now owned and operated Seven Limers and KAS Trucking since 1988.
On September 4, 1960 he married Anne (Marzouca); she survives in Bellevue.
Also surviving are their children: Diane Zam (Terry Dunn) of Port Clinton and Mark (Gwen) Lehmkuhl of Auburn, Alabama; grandchildren: Katelyn (Micah) Johnson; Joseph Zam; Tatum Lehmkuhl; Mason Lehmkuhl; Connor Dunn; Emaleigh Dunn; and Brody Dunn; and his sister, Sister Ann Catherine of Dayton.
In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his siblings: Robert Lehmkuhl; Lester Lehmkuhl; and Mary Lou Sweida.
Visitation will be 4-7:00pm Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. His funeral mass will be 10:30am Tuesday, November 19 at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue. Rev. Jonathan Wight will officiate and burial will follow in Bellevue St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Immaculate Conception Church or Stein Hospice.
