Angeline "Ann" G. Suter, 93, of Clyde, died at The Gardens of Clyde on Friday, June 1, 2018.
Ann was born in Sheridan, Maine on April 27, 1925 to Omer and Gertrude (Theriault) Chagnon. She moved to Clyde in 1949, where she was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Altar Rosary Society and had formerly been a Camp Fire Leader.
She had worked for Mr. Russ Senior of Clyde and then for Heinz in Fremont.
On August 5, 1943, she married Francis E. Suter. He preceded her in death on November 13, 2003.
Survivors include a son, Wayne (Joan) Suter of Fremont and two daughters, Linda (James) Dick of Clyde and Jean (Jessie) Rodriguez of Fremont. Her daughter-in-law, Rena Suter survives in Clyde as does her surviving sister Mabel Worster. Eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Suter was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son, Alan Suter on April 10, 2016. Three brothers, Omer Chagnon, William Chagnon and Joseph Chagnon, along with five sisters, Laura White; Retna Boutot; Celia Stout; Rose McAlpine and Sophie Dillon all preceded her.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 4-7:00 pm at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde. Vigil service will be at 7:00pm. The service will be on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 10:30 AM the funeral home with Rev. Ed Schleter officiating. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.
