Anna M. “Bonnie” Woodruff, 85, formerly of Clyde, died Friday, July 28, 2017 at The Willows at Bellevue.

 

She was born September 15, 1931 in Warrensville Heights, Ohio to Robert and Christina (Faulstich) Armour.  In 1949 she graduated from John Adams High School.  Bonnie was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Clyde, where she volunteered to help at church and at the school.  She had also participated in a bowling league.  For many years, she was a bookkeeper in her husband’s dental office in Clyde.

 

On August 7, 1954 she married James F. Woodruff, DDS.  He preceded her in death on April 10, 1998. 

 

Survivors include their children:  Thomas (Millie) Woodruff, DDS of Clyde; Timothy Woodruff of Clyde; Mary Christine “Christi” (Daniel) Fox of Bellevue; William “Willie” (Gail) Woodruff of Huron; Kathryn (Mark) Franks of Clarkston, Michigan; and Susan (Scott) Keegan of Fremont; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

 

In addition to her husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Edwin Armour and Mary Armour.

 

Visitation will be 11:00am-12:45pm Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 218 S. Main St, Clyde.  Her funeral service will be 1:00pm Sunday, July 30 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 615 Vine St, Clyde with Rev. Jonathan Wight officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Mary Catholic Church in Clyde.
