Bernice L. Davenport, 87, of Bellevue, died Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Bellevue Care Center.
She was born April 29, 1931 in Bellevue to Mertin and Clara (Link) Close. Bernice was a 1949 graduate of Bellevue High School. She was a realtor in Bellevue for many years.
On June 18, 1949 she married Howard B. Davenport and he survives in Bellevue. Also surviving are children: Paul H. Davenport of Fremont and Paula A. Bondy of Bellevue; grandchildren: Josh Davenport of Marysville; Ryan (Billie) Bondy of Waukesha, Wisconsin; Yvette (David) Rose of Diamondhead, Mississippi; Hilary Davenport of Philadelphia; great-granddaughter, Willow Olivia Bondy; and a sister, Carol Elder of Arkansas.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter, Olivia Bondy; and brothers and sisters.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery. Auxter Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
