Betty L. Stults, 95, of Fremont, died at Countryside Manor on Thursday, October 4, 2018.
Betty was born in Fremont on February 11, 1923 to Harry and Elsie (Hampshire) Seils. She was a 1941 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Mrs. Stults was a long time member of St. John Lutheran Church, Fremont, where she had been active in the Dorcus Circle. She was also a member of the Fremont VFW, Elks and Moose.
When she had been able, she was active with bowling, knitting and crocheting. However, she enjoyed card playing, having tea with family and friends. She was a staunch supporter of Ross, OSU and the Browns.
Mrs. Stults retired from the former County Home, but had previously worked in the former Englers' Ice Cream; Fremont Wine Store; Ferd Carry Out and seasonally at Heinz.
On November 16, 1946, she married Robert E. "Fat" Stults. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Jackie (Lenny) Ferguson and a son, Jerry (Brenda) Stults, all of Fremont. Three grandchildren, Jeff, Lisa and Amber along with six great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren and four step great-great grandchildren. Her brother Robert (Sue) Seils survives in Fremont.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edward Seils.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 2-7:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 ay 10:30 AM at Faith Lutheran Church,1187 Co. Rd. 128, Fremont with Rev. Henry Seibert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
