Brenda F. (Salyer) Hackenburg

Brenda F. Hackenburg, 71, of Clyde passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo on Monday, April 16, 2018.

Brenda was born in Salyersville, Kentucky on December 6, 1946 to Samuel and Doris (Marshall) Salyer.

She had worked at the former Eaton Control in Fremont.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Danny Hackenburg of Clyde; her son, Chris (Amy) Haynes of Clyde; three granddaughters, Caila, Cailynn and Samantha; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter. Also her brother, Marvin (Jacquelyn) Salyer of Marysville, two step granddaughters, Taylor Morgan and Gracelynn Antil. Two nieces and two great nephews survive as well.

Mrs. Hackenburg was preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Paul Haynes.

Shopping was a passion of Brenda, but her family was her focus and life.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 3-7:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart or Kidney Foundations.
