Brian Paul Wilkerson

Brian Paul Wilkerson, age 21, of Clyde, died on Saturday morning, August 24, 2019, in an automobile accident.

Brian was born in Bellevue on October 7, 1997 to William A. and Elizabeth "Beth" (Butz) Wilkerson.

He was a member of the 2016 graduating class of Clyde High School. Presently, Brian was in a co-op program at Whirlpool Corp through Miami University of Ohio and Terra State College.

He was a avid hunter, loved to fish and he was constantly "tinkering" with anything that he wanted to. Brian was a conscientious citizen, keeping up do date on world politics and other interesting developments.

Surviving him, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Robert "Mac" Wilkerson of Clyde; Adam Wilkerson of Tiffin, and a sister, Mary Grace Wilkerson of Clyde. His paternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Wilkerson of Clyde, along with aunts and uncles, Kathy and Tom Lasky; Linda and Bob Miller; Elaine and Lee Gittinger and Melissa and Alex Barrera also survive.

Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alton and Jean Butz.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 2-7:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at The First United Methodist Church, Clyde. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Brian Wilkerson Fund that they, the family, will determine the charitable benefactors at a later date.
