Catherine L. Stancil, 62, of Clyde, died at her home on Thursday, August 31, 2017.

Catherine was born in Lancaster, Ohio on June 9, 1955.

Mrs. Stancil was a member of the MisCue Pool League of Sandusky County for 42 years. She had also been a member of the Moose and Eagles, both of Clyde. Anytime she could play Bingo, she did, that was one of her favorite pastimes.

On July 24, 1990, she married Huey M. Stancil, Jr. He survives, as do her daughters, Shawna (James) West of Bradner and Bobbie Matney of Clyde. Step-daughter, Lisa  (Randy) Rogers of Port Clinton, along with eight grandchildren, Candice (Cory) Gordon; James West, Jr.; Jessica Matney; Daniel (Liz) Rogers; Dustin (Kelly) Rogers; Nick (Jo) Stancil; Huey Stancil and Robert Stancil also survive. Nine great grandchildren, and siblings, Robin Ann Rock, Lancaster; Paul Rock, Grove City; John Rock, Fairborn; Jamie Rock, New Orleans; Bill Rock Cleveland and Patrick "Bodi" Rock, Lancaster are surviving as well.

Catherine was preceded in death by her father, Charles William Rock; her mother, Naomi Louise (Cole) Bradford, brother, Jim Rock and stepsons, Kevin and Robert Stancil.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 5-7:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10:30 AM at The Church of God, South Main St., Clyde Ohio  with Pastor Gene Paul officiating. Burial will be in Parkhurst Cemetery.
