Chriss A. Evans, 61, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.

 

He was born March 23, 1956 in Vandalia, Illinois to Glen and Rosalynde (Christman) Evans.  Chriss graduated from Bellevue High School in 1974.  He had worked for the Norfolk & Western Railroad and the Maumee Youth Center and had spent a few years working in Alaska on crab boats.  He was a member of Liberty Center Masonic Lodge #518, and had his black belt in karate.  Chriss never met a stranger.

 

Survivors include his children: Christopher (Jamie) Evans of Grand Rapids, Ohio and Abigail Evans of Columbus; granddaughter, Brystol Evans; brother, Ronald Evans of Cleveland; and former wife, Robin Evans of Wauseon.

 

Visitation will be 10-Noon on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Auxter Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue.
