Clarence W. "Butch" Gardner, 57, formerly of Bellevue, more recently of Lakeland, Florida, died unexpectedly at Tampa General Hospital, Tampa, Florida.
Butch was born in Bellevue, Ohio on August 30, 1961 to Wayne and Audie "Sue" (Mobley) Gardner.
He enjoyed cars, Harley, Mopar and camping. Anything with a motor was his pride and joy.
Mr. Gardner was working as an equipment operator for Kiewit in Florida.
Survivors include his companion, Kimberly Brengartner of Florida; the mother of his children, Tina Gardner of Bellevue, his three children, Natasha (Derek) Lavalley of Monroeville; Alicia (Jared) Smith of Findlay and Bryan Gardner of Bellevue. Four grandchildren, Harmony, Raylynn, Leah and Caine Lavalley, along with three sisters, Cheri (Frank) Panfalone; Candy (Paul) Krause and Michelle Meachem all of Bellevue.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don Gardner.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 5-7:00 at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio.
Immediately following the visitation, there will be a luncheon at the American Legion on State Route 20, Bellevue.
