Diana Lee Hay, 56, of Bellevue, died unexpectedly at University Hospital, Cleveland on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.
Diana was born in Columbus on November 6, 1963 to Waldon "Red" and Sue Dell (Cecil) Adkinson.
She was a graduate of Teays Valley High School in Ashville, Ohio.
Mrs. Hay loved the Lord, serving Him with her humble, sweet, giving spirit. She was known for putting others above herself. Her family, especially her grandchildren were the love of her life.
Diana was a member of Wayside Temple, volunteering for a long time in the tv production. She liked to play volleyball and ride the motorcycle with her husband.
She was working at Ventra in Sandusky.
On May 30, 1987, she married Michael Hay. He, along with their children, Joseph (Michelle) Hay of Massillon; Kyann Hay (fiancé' Adam) of Bellevue and Andrew Hay (fiancé' Alison) of Norwalk. Three grandchildren Jacob; Lily and Brexton, as well as her father, Red (Ina) Adkinson; and siblings, Brenda (Tom) Birmingham of Clyde; Ray (Susan) Phillips of Oak Harbor; Allen (Sandra) Adkinson of Florida; Brian (Sherry) Adkinson of Bellevue; Chris (Gary) Edwards of Ashland; Braden Adkinson of Shelby and Andy (Chris) Adkinson of Oak Harbor. Her mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Hay of Bellevue and sister-in-law, Teresa (Perry) Dangerfield of Akron; and many nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her mother; father-in-law, Richard Hay; and sister-in-law, Cris Adkinson..
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 1-3 and 5-7:00 pm at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio. The funeral will be on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 10:30 am at Wayside Temple, Castalia. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
