Donetta A. (Wittibslager) Metz

Mrs. Donetta A. Metz, 72, formerly of Clyde, more recently, Green Springs, died at Eden Springs East Campus, on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

Donetta was born in Red Jacket, West Virginia on May 20, 1947.

She graduated from Clyde High School in 1965.

Mrs. Metz was a life member of the VFW in Clyde, where she had held various offices of the auxiliary, including President. She was also involved in the Clyde Moose Auxiliary, having been an office holder on numerous levels.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Metz on June 18, 2007. They were married on January 24, 1987. Her parents, Harold and Charlotte (Meadows) Wittibslager.

Donetta is survived by her children Charles Jr. (Melanie) Zerman and Michele (Ronald) Rine all of Clyde. Two granddaughters, Kayla Zerman ( fiancé' Aaron) and Chelsea (Thomas) Matty along with her sister, Karen (Jesse) James of Morriltown, Arkansas. also survive.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 3-6:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Frank Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Green Springs Cemetery.
