Edward J. Felter, 91, formerly of Clyde, died at the home of his daughter-in-law, Bobbi, on Friday, January 4, 2019,
Ed was born in Norwalk, Ohio on September 5, 1927.
He had been a member of the Clyde Eagles and Moose, the Fremont VFW and the American Legion in Sandusky.
For over forty years, he worked at the Whirlpool Corp in Clyde.
Mr. Felter was a veteran of the United States Army during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Felter, his son, W. Scott "Fluff" Felter, twin infant sons, and his lifetime companion for 45 years, Peg Upton.
Survivors include, his daughter-in-law, Bobbi Felter of Green Springs, six grandchildren, Talania Stickles; Angela (Brian) Rowe; Chris Stickles; Ruth Jesenko; Douglas (Samantha) Felter and Lisa Mooney. Two sisters, Juanita (Tommy) Thoss and Alice (Gary) Johnson all of Clyde.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 4-7:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. Private family burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
