Evelyn A. (Marasco) Bennett

Evelyn A. Bennett, 91, of Clyde, died on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at her home, with her family at her side.

Evelyn was born in Bristol, Rhode Island on February 2, 1928 to the now deceased James and Antonetta (Murgo) Marasco. She graduated from Colts High School in Rhode Island.

Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Bellevue Alliance Church, the Senior Citizens of the Church, along with the Bible Study.

On June 18, 1950, she married Samuel D. Bennett. He preceded her in April of 1998.

Their children survive, Paul (Debi) Bennett of Summerville, South Carolina; Vicki (Kevin) Hoffman of Clyde; Debbie  (Steve) Lentz of Bellevue and Charles Bennett of Clyde. Six grandchildren, Brian (Jennifer) Bennett of SC; Kendra Bennett of SC; Chantal (Ben) Moore of Clyde; Alisa (Jarrett) Zieber of Clyde; Stephanie (Brian) Strock of Toledo; and Aaron (Jennifer) Lentz of Rising Sun survive, as do six great grandchildren; Jayden, Ansley, Bryson, Anabelle, Adallyn, Adele, Dominic, Maximus, Kaylee, A.J., and Allie.

Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her siblings; Ralph Marasco; Ida Foti; Lucy Conklin; Alice Marasco; Mary Brelsford; Raphalena Marasco and Paula O'Dell.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 10:00 am until the noon service at Bellevue Alliance Church, Monroe Street, Bellevue with Rev. Any Winters officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Bellevue Alliance Church of Promedica Hospice.
