Gary Mesnard

Gary Mesnard, 85, of Clyde, died at Bellevue Care Center on Thursday, May 16, 2019.

He was born March 26, 1934 to Zeldon & Evelyn (Bentrim) Mesnard.  He graduated from Clyde High School in 1952 and retired as a maintenance supervisor with the Whirlpool Corp in 1987.  Gary was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed landscaping, having worked all around the Clyde/Fremont area; trapping; and following all his grandchildren in their sporting events.

On March 26, 1955 he married Ramona Mesnard.  She preceded him in death on March 29, 2011. 

He is survived by his daughter, Lorna G. (Jerry) Neill of Clyde; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Jack (Diane) Mesnard of Clyde and Robert (Connie) Mesnard of Fremont. 

In addition to his parents and his wife, Gary was preceded in death by his siblings: Beverly Mesnard Conner; Patricia Mesnard Garza; and infant sister, Darlene Jo Mesnard in 1951.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 218 S. Main St, Clyde.  His funeral service will be 10:30am Tuesday, May 21 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Bakertown Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to a hospice of the donor's choice.
