Harley E. Polley, 86, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the Bellevue Care Center.
He was born August 16, 1933 in Bellevue to George S. & Dorothy I. (Kopp) Polley. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Bellevue. Harley graduated from York High School and had worked as a farmer and as an Ag Rep for First National Bank. He was most known for being a realtor and owning H. Polley Realty in Bellevue. Harley was a member of the Bellevue Elks, Bellevue Eagles, and formerly, the Bellevue Rotary. He enjoyed sports, especially golf and football.
On December 22, 1978 he married Kathleen (Weyher) and she survives in Bellevue. Also surviving are his sons: Tim (Becky) Polley of Bellevue; John (Kathy) Polley of Pennsylvania; Andy (Susan) Polley of New York; step children: Lori (Tom) Evans of Virginia and Michael (Michelle) Bailey of Bellevue; grandchildren: Dianne Polley; David Polley; Jeff (Lynsey) Polley; Meredith (Ross) McNamara; Caitlin (Don) Lassus; Jon (Katie) Polley; Alex (Vanessa) Polley; Eleanor Polley; Lydia Polley; Meghan Folk; great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Colton; Dashiell; Gwen; August; Xavier; Oscar; Noelle; Moses; Jillian; and his sister, Doris Block of Bellevue.
In addition to his parents, Harley was preceded in death by his siblings: George G. Polley; Helen Stephenson; and Robert Polley.
Visitation will be 4-7:00pm Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue. Elks services will take place at 7:00pm on Friday. His funeral service will be 10:30am Saturday, December 21 at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Bogen officiating. Burial will be in York Chapel Cemetery.
