Harold "Rick" Richard Wagner

Harold Richard "Rick" Wagner, 62, of Fremont, died at his home on Monday, September 3, 2018.

Rick was born in Port Clinton on March 22, 1956 to William and Florence (Sharp) Wagner.

Rick attended Fremont Ross High School, then completed his GED. He recently retired from Heinz, prior to Heinz, Rick worked at Kelsey Hayes for many years. He liked to garden. He was a fan of The Ohio State University and the Cleveland Browns. Rick always had a project he was tinkering toward completion. He truly enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren.

On October 11, 2005 he married the former Linda K. Roach.

He is survived by children, Stacey (Dustin) Williams of Marysville, Ohio; Nicholas (Traecy) Kieffer of Clyde and Nina (Jon) Dabrunz of Fremont. Eight grandchildren, Guenevere and Jonah Williams; Summer, GraceLynn, Aleena and Prezley Kieffer and Zachary Dabrunz and Andreya Albrecht. Nine siblings, Paul (Karen) Wagner; Kenny (Diana) Wagner; Carol Bender all of Fremont; Dorothy (Bob) Haver of Tiffin; Martha (Dave) Jensen of Oak Harbor; Laura (Randy) Wiechman; Walt (Kim) Wagner; Leroy "Charlie" (Michelle) Wagner all of Fremont and Helen (Pat) Baker of Clyde.

Mr. Wagner was preceded in death by his parents a brother, William Wagner, Jr. along with a brother-in-law, Franklin Bender

A funeral service will be at 9:15 am on Saturday, September 8, 2018 followed by a gathering of family and friends from 10:00 am until Noon at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. At. 1:00 pm, family and friends are invited to the Sandusky Township Fire Station,2207 Oak Harbor Road, Fremont for at time of memory sharing.
