Helen B. Holt, 83 of Clyde, died at University of Toledo Medical Center on Thursday, July 18, 2019.
Helen was born in Florence, Alabama on May 4, 1936 to the now deceased William and Lina Montgomery.
In the 1950's, she moved to Ohio. She had worked at the former General Electric Plant in Bellevue, until it's closing.
Mrs. Holt was a member of Butternut Ridge Church of Christ, rural Clyde. She was a talented quilter and enjoyed crocheting. Her flowers were her outdoor activity. But her greatest joy was her love for Jesus and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill C. Holt on December 22, 2014.
Their children, Carlton Holt and David (Shellia) Holt all of Clyde; Sandra Kovacs of North Carolina; Brenda (David) Berkey of Bellevue and Billie Holt of Clyde survive. Also five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, along with her siblings, Ruth Whitten, Billie (Kay) Montgomery); Hazel Bevis and David (Ophelia) Montgomery also survive.
Her brother, Earl Montgomery is deceased.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from4-6:00 pm at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. The funeral will be on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
