John E. "Jack" Bango , 73, of Clyde, died at the Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.

Jack was born in Sandusky, Ohio on December 14, 1943 to John E. (Maxine (Scott) Bango.

He was a 1963 graduate of Townsend High School. Then served in the US Army during Viet Nam War from 1964-1967.

Mr. Bango was a member of the Clyde VFW, Eagles and Moose.

He had worked at Routh Packing for 43 years prior to his retirement.

On December 9, 1967, he married Betty Musser. She survives. Also surviving are his mother, Maxine Bango Corbin Schwochow of Bellevue; four brothers, Ron (Joan) Bango of Sandusky; Bob Bango of Clyde; Raymond Corbin of Sandusky and Bill (Vicki) Corbin of Vickery and two sisters, Gladys Taber of Clyde and Lucrieta  (Rick) Moore of Bellevue. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Jack was preceded in death by his father, John E. Bango, who was killed in WWII; and brother, Chet Corbin.

There are no scheduled services.

Memorials may be given to Betty for a use to be determined.
