John C. Consolo, 54, of Bellevue, died, after a brief illness, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at the Bellevue Hospital.
John was born in Bellevue on June 22, 1964 to William, III and Frances (Matarazzo) Consolo. He was a member of the Bellevue High School class of 1983.
Mr. Consolo was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue. He was the proud owner of a 1967 fast back Mustang and his Harley. John liked to tell jokes and eat Italian food.
After 32 years as a maintenance mechanic at Whirlpool Corp in Clyde, this year was his last.
On September 17, 1988, he married Melissa "Missy" Durnwald. She survives, along with their son, Anthony "AJ" Consolo of Bellevue and daughter, Chelsie Consolo of Fremont. Five brothers, William IV (Theresa) Consolo of Swanton; Frank (Lainie) Consolo of Rootstown; James (Kim) Consolo of Bellevue; Michael Consolo of Clyde and Samuel (Amy) Consolo of Bellevue.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Mason James, and a niece, Ashley Marie.
Zoey, his faithful companion is at a loss without him.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 1-5:00 pm at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue, Ohio. The funeral mass will be on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception with Rev. Jonathon Wight officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellevue.
