Kathryn "Katie" Marie (Myers) Fleming

Kathryn "Katie" Fleming, 40, of Vickery died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Bellevue Hospital.

She was born September 7, 1977 in Fremont to Mary Sandra (Wurtz) and Gerald J. Myers.  Katie graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1995; then from Brown-Mackie College with her LPN, and was currently attending Terra, due to receive her RN in December.  She loved being a nurse and caring for others.  She enjoyed reading, camping, shopping, and being with her family.  Currently, she was working for Maxium Healthcare.

On September 27, 2008 she married John G. Fleming and he survives in Vickery.  Also surviving is her mother, Sandy Evans of Archbold; step-mother, Patricia Myers of Fremont; her children, Emily Justice and Matthew Fleming; step-children: Rebecca, Ashly, John, and David Fleming; step-grandchildren: Addisyn, Aubree, and Aurorah; siblings: Dennis (Margaret) Myers of Fremont; Barbara Johnston of Uniontown, PA; Tracy (Jim) Manderino of Monesson, PA; Joseph (Jennifer) Myers of Troy, Ohio; step-siblings: Christopher Nehls of Fremont; Carrie (Timothy) Kreilich of Helena; David (Lisa) Evans of Swanton; Lisa Forshey of McClure; Keith (Sheryl) Evans of Delta; Laurie vonSeggern of Wauseon; mother-in-law, Bertie Lou Fleming of Vickery; and John's siblings: Tom (Tina) Fleming of Vickery; Jacki Halbisen of Blue Rock, Ohio; Jill (Larry) Polta of Vickery.

Katie was preceded in death by her father Gerald Myers and her step-father, Roger Evans.

Visitation will be 11:00-1:00pm Friday, May 18, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1320 County Road 268, Vickery.  Her funeral service will follow at 1:00pm Friday at the church with Rev. Jeanette Thorp officiating.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
