Larry L. Pierce, 71, of rural Clyde, died at Stein in Sandusky on Wednesday, July 24, 2019.
Larry was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 27, 1948.
Mr. Pierce service in the US Army from 1967-1969, then eleven years in the Ohio National Guard.
He graduated from high school in Michigan. Larry retired from the Ford Motor Co. in Sandusky and had previously worked at Whirlpool Corp.
Larry loved to garden and work with wood. He was an artist, especially he liked to paint. Much of his leisure time, he enjoyed playing games on the computer.
Survivors include his three children, Sherry Bindley; Randy Pierce and Rob Pierce, all of Michigan. His grandchildren, Marissa Johnston; Kevin Pryor; Andrew and Sydney Pierce, and Michia Talbert along with great grandchildren, Daniel, Melanie and Charlie Johnston also survive. His brother Rick Pierce and sister Suzie Pierce survive in Michigan.
Services will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the Clyde VFW at 1:00 pm. The members of the honor guard will preform services. A luncheon will follow.
