Linda Missimi

Linda Missimi, 91, of Bellevue died Monday, November 19, 2018 at her home.

She was born February 18, 1927 in Sicily to Vincenzo & Maria Angela (Inni) Russo.  She attended school in Italy and moved here in 1958.  Mrs. Missimi was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

On December 6, 1947 she married Vincenzo "Jimmy" Missimi.  He preceded her in death on October 29, 2007.
Survivors include their children:  Anthony "Tony" Missimi of Bellevue; Rose (Calogero) Pidala of Sicily; Mary (Mark) Meyers of Florida; Jacqueline "Jackie" (Brian) Filsinger of Bellevue; grandchildren:  Sammy (Manuela) Pidala; Maria Linda (Alfredo Miceli) Pidala; Joshua (Angie) Pennington; Jenna (Brian) Murphy; Robi (Michelle) Meyers; Lindsey (Dave) Beyer; Ashley (Zach) Branco; Kyle (Kelli) Mallow; twenty great-grandchildren; and her brother, Domenico Russo in Sicily.

In addition to her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Angela Mickey; sisters: Maria Russo Brancatelli and Antonina Russo Frusteri.
Visitation will be Noon-2:00pm Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue.  Her funeral mass will be 2:30pm Wednesday, November 21 at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St, Bellevue with Father Anthony Missimi officiating.  Burial will follow at Bellevue St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. 

Memorials may be given to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
