Lois L. Nottke, 90, of Bellevue, died at the Bellevue Hospital on Sunday, June 30, 2019.
Mrs. Nottke was born in Bellevue on November 14, 1928 to the now deceased William and Minnie (Stieve) Hager.
She was a member of Lyme Congregational Church, and the Lyme Ladies Society. Gardening, puzzles and bingo were some of her favorite activities but being a homemaker was her love. She had worked for General Electric in Bellevue, then as a cook at the former Lyme School in Bellevue.
On February 14, 1948, she married Harold R. Nottke. Through their 69 years of marriage, Harold affectionately refereed to Lois as "Tootie." He preceded her in death on November 21, 2017.
Surviving is a son, Michael & Amy Nottke of Bellevue; seven grandchildren David; Tim (Katrina); Mark; Ryan (Bonnie); Andrea (Ryan) Hieber; Vanessa (Corrigan) Palmer; Justin; and Rebecca (Terrence) Carr. Also seven great grandchildren, Wesley; Brantley; Savannah; Hunter and Jack. Her daughter-in-law, Deb Nottke of Bellevue and her sister-in-law, Jane Nottke of Norwalk, survive as well.
Lois was preceded in death by a son, Larry and her sister, Eileen Martin.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 5-7:00 pm at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio. The funeral will be on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 10:30 am at Lyme Congregational Church on St. Rt. 113, Bellevue. Burial will follow in Strong's Ridge Cemetery.
