Marcella H. Noftz, 88, of Clyde, died at The Gardens of Clyde, on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.
Marcella was born in Fremont on October 5, 1930 to the now deceased Sylvester and Helen (Haubert) Meyer. She graduated from St. Joseph High School, Fremont in 1949.
Mrs. Noftz had been the bookkeeper for her husband, Darl's M&N Mobile station in Clyde until the business was sold. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde, as well as the Clyde Eagles, Moose and VFW.
On September 3, 1949, she married Darl E. Noftz.. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2017.
Survivors include their children, Paula Albright of Clyde, Kenneth (Barb) Noftz of Marblehead; Janet (Jack) Myers of Fremont and Jennifer (Perry) Hill of Clyde. Nine grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren also survive. Two sisters, Norma Jane Hetrick of Lindsey and Arlene Hoffman of Fremont survive as well.
Marcella was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Wilfong in 1987. Two brothers, Wilbur Meyer, Clarence Meyer and three sisters, Dorothy Carnicom, Bernadine Blodgett and Ursula Zoeller are also deceased.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 10:00 am until the service at 12:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The burial will follow in McPherson Cemetery.
