Margaret V. Huffer, 88, formerly of Bellevue, more recently at the home of her daughter in Clyde, died in Clyde on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.
Mrs. Huffer was born in Columbus on September 19, 1929 to Everett and JoyBelle (Denewitz) Gautier.
She moved from Columbus, Ohio to Bellevue in 1968 with her husband, Richard Huffer, whom she married on April 29, 1948. Mr. Huffer preceded her in death on May 2, 1987.
Margaret was a member of the Bellevue Alliance Church. She had enjoyed sewing, crochet and reading prior to her illness. Her illness did not affect the love she had for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Rick (Becky) Huffer of Clarksville, Tennessee; Sharon (Noel) Maye of Clyde; and Gary (Sue) Huffer of Bellevue. Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Huffer was preceded by her parents, her brother, Robert Gautier and a grandson.
Graveside services will be on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Rt. 20 Clyde with Rev. J.B. Hecock and Pastor Maxine Emly officiating.
Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio is assisting the family with their arrangements and service.
Memorials may be made to the Bellevue Alliance Church or Promedica Hospice in Clyde.
